Different businesses use different Awards that stipulate the rates of pay and employment conditions for their staff. By law, these Awards must be available at each workplace, and the conditions of the Award must be strictly applied.
Members can receive one complimentary Award included in their membership, whilst additional Awards are available at a very cost-effective subscription fee.
Members receive:
- A copy of the Award/s (required by law)
- Timely updates of any changes to the Award/s via circulars & alerts
- Online access to most current version via our Awards Online website
- Free assistance on interpreting Award/s from our Employer Assistance Line (1300 135 822)

Australian Made & Australian Grown
"Marketing point of difference"
Australia's most trusted and recognised country of origin symbol can now also be found on fresh and packaged produce grown in Australia eg fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, eggs etc.
The famous green and gold kangaroo already features on close to 10,000 products in more than 30 countries and the number of logo users is growing rapidly.
The symbol very effectively brands products as Australian. Recent research conducted by Roy Morgan Research shows:
- 98 per cent of Australian consumers recognise the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo and 86 per cent trust the logo over any other country of origin identifier
- 67 per cent buy Australian made whenever possible or often.
Using the logo makes business sense. Only products registered with the campaign may use the logo.
To carry the logos, products must comply with the Campaign's own Code of Practice and meet country of origin requirements
of the Trade Practices Act.
Australian Made (as per Trade Practices Act)
- Substantially transformed in Australia
- 50 per cent or more of costs in Australia
Product of Australia (as per Trade Practices Act)
- Each significant ingredient or component must originate from Australia
- All, or virtually all, of the production must take place in Australia.
Australian Grown
- Each significant ingredient or component must be grown in Australia (as defined) and not exported and reimported, and
- All, or virtually all, of the production processes must take place in Australia
There is also a qualified Australian Grown claim when most but not all of the ingredients are Australian grown.
