David GoodwinDavid Goodwin

David is the President of Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland, Director, Australian Chamber of Commerce and Director, International Chamber of Commerce (Australia). He is also a Director of Interport Cargo Services Pty Ltd, a company that has successfully operated since 1960. Located at the Port of Brisbane, the company provides full service, port services operations and includes five acres of customs warehousing and quarantine facilities.

Having completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and finance, David is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and recently served as the Chair of the CCIQ Board Finance, Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee.

 


Peter GrantPeter Grant

Peter is a director and founder of a medium sized wholesale bakery business in Mackay that supplies bakery products to all sectors of the retail and hospitality trade in the region.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and has extensive management experience in the food and engineering industries and has owned and operated a number of small businesses. He is a current member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He is currently Chair of the Mackay and Central Coast Regional Policy Council and a member of the Finance, Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee and Business Development, Membership and Customer Service Committee.


Tony HogarthTony Hogarth

Tony is a Partner in the Brisbane office of MacDonnells Law Commercial Law Team, practicing in the fields of commercial, business and property. Tony provides legal advice to a wide variety of corporations, SME's, financial institutions, business entities, commercial and retail property and hotel and tourism clients.

His commercial practice involves advising on business structures, companies, trusts, partnerships, re-organisations, business sales and purchases, business banking and finance. He also acts for various, not for profit and sporting organisations, and is a former president of the North Queensland Law Association Inc.

 


Tom TateTom Tate

Tom is the CEO of the Islander Resort Hotel, a three star, one hundred and fifty room hotel in Surfers Paradise. The family owned company has investments in Nomads Backpackers Resort - 239 bed backpacker hostel, Vegas in Paradise – restaurant, bar and gaming lounge and Sanctuary Resort in Malaysia.

Tom has completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and has been an active member of the business community for many years serving as a Director for a variety of business associations and organisations. Tom was recently presented with Life membership to the Surfers Paradise Chamber of Commerce.

He is the current Chair of the Gold Coast Regional Policy Council and member of the Business Development, Membership and Customer Service Committee.


Ian SainsburyIan Sainsbury

Ian is the General Manager for Tyco Flow Control Pacific Pty Ltd and is responsible for five operational sites and eight sales offices around Australia & Pacific regions; marketing into global industrial, mining, construction & rural market sectors.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Engineering and has extensive experience in the engineering industry in both management and directorship roles.He is currently Chair of the South West Regional Policy Council and Chair of the Finance, Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee.

 


Brett MollerBrett Moller BA. LL.B. MAICD

Brett is a partner of Marino Moller Lawyers, a Cairns and regional law firm, and is also a fourth generation Gordonvale cane farmer.

With an extensive career in the legal profession, Brett has practiced within a range of rural industries including the buying and selling of cattle properties, dairy farms, sugar cane, banana farms and transfers of water allocations and water licenses. Brett's experience also extends to commercial work for property investors, business owners, landlords, tenants and community associations.

Brett has been an active member of the Cairns and it's regions business community for many years and is the current Chair of the Far North Queensland Regional Policy Council.


Stephen DittmannStephen Dittmann

Stephen is Owner-Manager of the Bank of Queensland, Maleny branch.

Stephen has a long record in rural business development and community based business support and is the current President of the Maleny & District Chamber of Commerce. He is active in many business development roles across Sunshine Coast and takes a keen interest in small business development. Stephen has been instrumental in assisting the Chamber Alliance project, and works tirelessly to ensure outcomes benefit not only the Maleny community but the regional business community also.

Stephen is the current Chair of the CCIQ Regional Policy Council Sunshine Coast.
