Move Safe - It's your body
The Move Safe training program is a highly interactive and practical manual task training program tailored specifically to the needs of the workplace.
Wherever workers perform jobs containing risks from manual tasks, the employer has a legal requirement to provide training to those workers. Strain/sprain injuries are the single most frequent injury type in Queensland workplaces and are becoming more frequent.
This course will not only meet the employer's legal obligations to provide manual task training to workers, but will also reduce the frequency and severity of strain/sprain injuries experienced by workers. >Find out more.
Does your workplace employ 30 or more workers? Then by law you are required to have a Workplace Health and Safety Officer.
To become an accredited Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Officer, participants are required to achieve competency in both the Core Modules and an Elective Module of the WHS Course.
WHS Officer Accreditation expires five years from the date of the certificate and employers must ensure the WHS Officer in their workplace retains accreditation to prevent a breach of the Workplace Health and Safety Act. By keeping up-to-date with your WHS accrediation, you will avoid penalties and help your business maintain a safe and risk-free environment for your valuable employees and customers.
