Education & Training Advisor Program
The Education and Training Advisor (ETA) is responsible for increasing the knowledge and understanding of education and training within the workplace.
The four main priorities of the ETA Project are to:
- Provide information on Vocational Education and Training (VET) issues within the National Training Framework and Australian Apprenticeships.
- To work with employers to increase their involvement with Australian Apprenticeships and Australian School-based Apprenticeships
- Promote the VET system and enhance links and interaction between stakeholders i.e. employers, employees, schools, students, Government and other bodies.
- Gather information on issues within the VET sector to provide recommendations for future actions, initiatives and developments.
The Advisor is available to provide members with free information, advice and assistance on a wide range of education and training issues. The Advisor aims to keep members informed of developments in the National Training system and to help you use the system to employ apprentices, trainees and cadets and to address your current and future skills needs
