Aarons Linen Service has operated a commercial laundry and linen service from the Meadowbrook site in Logan City since 1997.
Conservation of natural resources and implementation of world best practice has been a driving force in the development in the Aaron's business over more than 20 years in the laundry industry.
The general approach to conservation of natural resources has been to commission efficient, state of the art linen processing equipment and advanced reuse systems to minimise utility consumption.
In the past three years installation of water and energy reuse systems coupled with the commissioning of advanced processing equipment and systems have seen a reduction in overall water consumption of 51 per cent and a reduction in wash and dry cycle times of 10 - 15 per cent. Sustained business growth of approximately 25 per cent per year has been achieved during this period. To reduce utility consumption and increase process volumes consistently over a sustained period has been a major achievement for the business.
Aaron's is committed to enhancing water and energy reuse systems to preserve precious natural resources and allow sustained business growth.
