In support of our members, Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland has developed a collaborative partnership with Enterprise Connect to help members access government funding & support from a range of experts in order to improve & grow their business.
What is Enterprise Connect
Enterprise Connect is an Australian Government initiative that provides comprehensive support to eligible Australian small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
Enterprise Connect services include free business reviews for eligible businesses and grant assistance to implement recommendations flowing from the business reviews.
Enterprise Connect's aim is to help Australian firms develop the skills, tools and knowledge needed to improve their competitiveness and productivity and to maximise their growth potential.
Business Reviews
Enterprise Connect provides eligible firms with a comprehensive Business Review which is delivered on-site at your business, at no financial cost.
Our Business Adviser will work with people throughout various operational levels of your firm to develop a thorough view of;
- the strengths and weaknesses of your business strategic issues
- potential areas for business improvement and,
- potential areas for growth
Our Business Advisers offer;
- Business management & strategy support
- Degree qualified in Engineering or Business
- Advanced business analysis skills
- The ability to facilitate change in small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
Business Advisors will spend three to four days on-site gathering information for each Business Review.
Who Qualifies
To be eligible for an Enterprise Connect Business Review, firms must:
- possess an Australian Company Number (ACN)
- if located in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth or Brisbane - have turned over more than $2 million and under $100 million in the either of the preceding two financial years
- if located in a regional area, that is outside the above cities - have turned over more than $1.5 million and under $100 million in the preceding two financial years
- be solvent
- have filed Business Activity Statements for at least three consecutive years
- be in the business of manufacturing and/or a manufacturing related service firm
- not have received an equivalent Business Review service, from other government (Australian, state or territory or local) programs within the last three calendar years.
