Climate debate puts the focus on business eco-efficiency
This week's announcement of the Federal Opposition's climate change policy has placed renewed focus on eco-efficiency and environmental performance for businesses of all shapes and sizes. All Queensland business can benefit from improved eco-efficiency practices.
In an effort to help businesses to know where to start with eco-efficiency, the CCIQ team has developed a simple questionnaire. Those who complete the questionnaire will receive specific eco-efficiency feedback from CCIQ's Business Sustainability Team.
Increasing environmental compliance requirements, increasing consumer and supply chain pressures for green goods and services and ballooning utility and raw material prices are proving to be motivating many businesses to investigate their eco-efficiency.
With the right support, your business can lower costs and increase profitability, reduce exposure to increasing environmental compliance pressures, improve staff retention and consumer relations and secure or increase market share.
