Blue ribbon event presents the ideal opportunity for careers, education & training

CCIQ is a major sponsor of Australia's most comprehensive Tertiary Studies Expo (TSXPO) which is being held on 17 & 18 July this year. Celebrating its 29th year, TSXPO not only offers a perfect opportunity for career seekers but also benefits employers seeking information on education and training options. The event will serve the needs of employees wishing to access up-skilling solutions and gain details on new learning opportunities.

Visitors will find more than 110 exhibitors, including all Queensland universities, as well as many interstate and overseas universities, private education providers, TAFE institutes, graduate employment, Defence Force recruiting, student support services and government employers. Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland will also have representatives at the event providing details on their upcoming training calendar.
TSXPO will also showcase important information for adult applicants on new and existing courses and study options available in 2010 and beyond. There will be experts providing advice on study programs, graduate outcomes, recruitment opportunities and details on the range of financial support that is available.
With over 20,000 visitors expected to attend over the weekend, the extensive seminar program of over 60 sessions will offer a number of specialist presenters on the latest information on tertiary studies, further training and employment opportunities!

CCIQ Job Shop
In addition, the CCIQ Job Shop will be held in conjunction with several regional careers events throughout Queensland, including the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Townsville. With a focus on "real people for real jobs" the CCIQ Job Shop will have "live jobs" on offer at these events. This industry-led initiative supports employers to find staff and job seekers to find a job. Participating organisations at these events may advertise any positions vacant free of charge.
