Twelve months after the business community outcry over red tape in Queensland, Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland (CCIQ) has revealed that the Government has failed to reduce the burden and has added an additional 7,900 pages of new and amended legislation.

A new Galaxy poll of voters conducted in the electorates of Kennedy, New England and Lyne on behalf of Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland (CCIQ), has found that more people are against the mining tax and are concerned it will have a negative impact on jobs and investment, further it confirms an underlying preference for their elected Independent MPs to endorse a Coalition government.
