Terms & Conditions of Entry

Entry to the Voice of Business 2009 competition is free.

This competition is conducted by Queensland Chamber of Commerce & Industry Limited (CCIQ).

To be eligible to enter this competition, you must complete the Voice of Business survey in full by 20/12/2009. The competition closes on that date. All entrants will be eligible for the prize draw.

All entrants must ensure that their participation in this competition is not prohibited by any of their own company's policies. Participation in this competition will be the sole and absolute responsibility of each entrant.

The description and retail value of the prize is:

A return flight to the value of $600

Four star accommodation for one night to the value of $250

A gift voucher with Australia Sports Car Rental Online to the value of $3390

The winner will be bound by the terms and conditions of rental of Australia Sports Car Rental Online.

CCIQ reserves the right to exclude any persons from the competition or from participating in any prize on the ground of their medical condition or history or any reason whatsoever.

CCIQ may, subject to State Regulations, terminate this competition or vary its terms at any time at its absolute discretion without liability to any contestant or other person.

The competition will be drawn on 21/12/2009. The winner will be notified via telephone. If, for some reason the winner is unable to be contacted despite all reasonable efforts by CCIQ, the prize will be redrawn. The results will also be published on CCIQ's website and enewsletter.

No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this competition or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, CCIQ's decision shall be final. CCIQ reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this competition at any time without notice.

To the extent permitted by law, all entrants release from, and indemnify Queensland Chamber of Commerce and Industry Limited ("CCIQ") against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.

Personal information collected from entrants is for the purposes of processing entry in the competition and to keep entrants informed of upcoming training and other competitions and will be used to conduct the competition and to contact the winner.

It is a condition of entry that CCIQ has the right to publicise the names, characters, likenesses or voices of any entrant for any promotion or matter incidental to the competition. The winner may also be required by CCIQ to participate in photo, recording, video and/or film session(s) (the "publicity materials") and by entering this competition entrants acknowledge that CCIQ will have the right to use such materials in any medium and in any reasonable manner it sees fit. Entrants also acknowledge that the winner's photo may be used for a promotional display at the prize provider's location.
