WHS Queensland releases update on OHS harmonisation laws
In 2008, Workplace Relations Ministers from across Australia agreed to nationally harmonise occupational health and safety (OHS) laws. Workplace Health & Safety Queensland have just released an update on the harmonisation, outlining actions for the year ahead.
The update provides an overview of the planned legislative framework, the Model Act, Model OHS Regulations and Codes of Practice. > Read more

How can the safe placement of labour hire workers be improved?
Do you use workers from a labour hire agency? Deakin University is conducting focus groups of host employers on behalf of Workplace Health & Safety Queensland on ways to improve the safe placement of labour hire employees.
