Join the Queensland Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QJCCI) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland (CCIQ) at this exclusive event, at which we will provide specific advice on access to Japan, and how Australian exporters can benefit from the recent Japan Australia Economic Partnership Agreement (JAEPA).
Japan is currently Australia’s second-largest investor and Queensland’s second-largest export market. Launched in 2015, JAEPA provides improved trade arrangements for a range of industries, with benefits for industries including beef, dairy, seafood, wine and services, education, financial, legal and telecommunications services, as well as resources, energy and manufacturing.
Supported by Austrade, this event will provide specific training on how to access JAEPA, along with an overview of various sector opportunities in the Japanese market.

Chris Whitecross, Managing Director, Arrowdynamics Pty Ltd
Following an extensive career in finance, Chris has established a successful consulting practice across industry sectors as diverse as Government, Aviation, Mining, Manufacturing, Accounting, Law and Health.
Chris is currently a member of the management committee of the Queensland Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He holds post-graduate qualifications in Human Resource Management and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Michael Cameron, Director - Business Services, Hall Chadwick
Michael graduated from the University of Queensland in 1995 and has been working in accounting practices since graduation.
After spending a number of years managing a Chartered Accounting firm in Papua New Guinea, Michael joined the firm in September 2000. He was promoted to Associate in 2007 and Director in 2008.
Over this time, Michael has been developing his knowledge in many industries, working with clients from family business to public companies. He sits on many client advisory boards, reporting on financial and operational performance and compliance.
Michael is a member of Queensland Collaborative Law, a method of Family Law dispute resolution which aims to produce an outcome of divorce in an amicable and satisfying manner for all parties.
Michael also heads our Japanese business services division assisting both Australian companies looking to access the Japanese market, and Japanese companies looking for opportunities in Australia. He also has a particular interest in the Asia Pacific region, assisting clients throughout Asia and many South Pacific countries such as PNG, Solomon Islands & Samoa.
Diana Gueorguieva, Manager – International Trade, CCIQ
Diana has over 15 years of experience in international trade and over 20 years of business development and management experience in her current role as a Manager International Trade at CCIQ. Over the last 15 years Diana has been also helping Queensland businesses to achieve offshore success by providing trade advice, assisting with overseas market research, strategy development, export marketing planning and implementation and finding potential business partners overseas.
Diana manages a team of International trade officers who provide export documentation services to over 1300 Queensland exporters and international logistics companies.
