CRC Masterclass: Management Skills for Running a High Performing Team

Whether you manage a big or small business, your staff are your strongest assets. At the heart of any organisation's success is a manager who knows how to steer, motivate and push teams in the right direction.

Hallmarks of a poor performing team commonly lay with bad management behaviours: getting the wrong people on/off the team, poor communication, unclear goals and job descriptions, pay discrepancies, and not holding staff to account.

It is, therefore imperative that the fundamentals of what it means to run a team in a business context are identified and understood - to help craft great teams, yielding great results for the organisation.

Join us for this Masterclass, held in conjunction with Cairns Regional Council, to help you to drive management skills for a high performing team.

This masterclass will incorporate management compliance fundamentals such as developing the right position descriptions, paying properly and regular reviews by CCIQ’s Senior Employer Assistance Advisor - Robert Hall-Boman.

There will also be an employment law case example of what happens when you get this wrong from  Special Counsel, Catherine Ross from MacDonnells Law.

Michele McSherry, Senior Bookkeeper from BDO will also take you through the highly topical Single Touch Payroll basics.
