Diana Gueorguieva, Manager – International Trade, CCIQ
Diana has over 16 years of experience in international trade and over 20 years of business development and management experience in her current role as a Manager of International Trade at CCIQ. Over the last 16 years, Diana has also had a hand in helping Queensland businesses achieve offshore success by providing trade advice, assisting with overseas market research, strategy development, export marketing planning and implementation and finding potential business partners overseas. Diana’s key interest is the Free Trade Agreements ( FTA's) Australia has in place with other countries and is passionate about assisting businesses to benefit from these FTA's.
Diana oversees the CCIQ International Trade team who provides export documentation services & international trade advice to over 1300 Queensland exporters and international logistics companies. Diana also manages the CCIQ Regional Certifying Body team who assists businesses in Cairns, Mackay, Townsville, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Rockhampton regions by providing Regional Certifying Body advice to employers to permanently sponsor highly -skilled foreign workers under the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) – visa (subclass 187).
Diana holds a Master of Marketing Management with Honours, a Bachelor of International Business majoring in International Marketing & International Management, Diploma of Export Management (AIEx) and a Diploma of Market Research (MRSA).
Kevin Smith, Manager - Export Documents, CCIQ
Kevin’s expertise spans a wide range of exporting experiences, including exporting fresh fruit and vegetables, encapsulated and raw tuna oil, food ingredients and electronic components for the mining industry.
Kevin's key markets of export experience include Canada, Korea South, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and the United States of America.
He has held roles within the management and customer service sectors. His experience in documentation includes health certificates and customs documents, along with commercial invoices and packing lists. He has significant experience in liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs officers, AQIS officers and container companies.
Kevin's passion for the export business, his focus on collaborative team-building, and his commitment to meeting customer and market demands has assisted him in providing exceptional service and advice to exporters throughout Australia here at CCIQ.
Graeme Roberts, Senior International Trade Advisor - CCIQ
Graeme has more than 20 years of experience within International trade relations, trade expansion and logistics.
Graeme's areas of speciality include advisory of strategic planning for trade expansion and growth, researching international markets, trade agreements, country-specific supply and demand-driven commodity tariff concessions and rulings, advising others' in all facets of trade via FTA's, and the placement of commodity AHECC and HS Codes.
His interests include overseas investment advice and how this opens businesses to new international markets, continued market research, FTA training and seminars, business product and commodity innovations, and tariff concessions and exemptions globally.
