Terms and Conditions - 2016 Digital Readiness Survey
To be eligible to enter this competition, conducted by Chamber of Commerce & Industry Queensland (CCIQ), you must be 18 years or over and you must complete the CCIQ 2016 Digital Readiness Study.
All entrants must ensure that entry into this competition is not prohibited by any of their own company’s policies and participation in this competition will be the sole and absolute responsibility of each contestant.
Only one entry per customer.
CCIQ reserves the right to exclude any persons from the competition.
CCIQ may, subject to State Regulations, terminate this competition or vary its terms at any time at its absolute discretion without liability to any contestant or other person.
The competition will be drawn on Thursday 10 March 2016 at CCIQ head office, 375 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill, QLD 4000. Winners will be notified via telephone or email. The prize winner drawn at random from all valid entries and will receive a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 valued at $1,349.
If, for some reason you are unable to be contacted despite all reasonable means by CCIQ, the prize will be redrawn. The results will be published on CCIQ’s website.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this competition or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, CCIQ’s decision shall be final. CCIQ reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this competition at any time without notice.
To the extent permitted by law, all contestants release from, and indemnify the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland (“CCIQ”) against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
Personal information collected in this form is for the purposes of processing your entry and used to contact contestants.
It is a condition of entry that CCIQ has the right to publicise the names, characters, likenesses or voices of any contestants for any promotion or matter incidental to the competition. The contestants may also be required by CCIQ to participate in photo, recording, video and/or film session(s) (the “publicity materials”) and acknowledges that CCIQ has the right to use such materials in any medium and in any reasonable manner it sees fit. Contestants also acknowledge that their photo may be used for a promotional display at the prize provider’s location.
DIGITAL READINESS DATA
All data collected as part of the CCIQ 2016 Digital Readiness Survey will be used for research purposes. Data will not be available to third parties and will appear in aggregated format only. Responses to questions will not be attributed to individuals and all responses are treated as confidential.
By entering this competition all entrants: consent to CCIQ making copies of the whole or any part of their entry and grant to CCIQ all present and future copyright and all other rights in their entry and the publicity materials in all media (including, without limitation, the internet) and whether in existence now or created in the future; undertake to CCIQ that their entry is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile phone failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of CCIQ which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition CCIQ reserves the right subject to State regulations to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
