Domestic and family violence: What it means in the workplace

Domestic and family violence (DFV) is a serious issue that affects the whole of Australian society. Despite consensus the numbers of those experiencing DFV are underreported, data shows violent and emotional abuse is overly prevalent in Australia. The consequences for not addressing this issue can be fatal and the only way to effectively address this issue is by doing so throughout all aspects of society, including workplaces.

As a part of CCIQ's Small Business Social Impact Series, the Domestic and Family Violence as a Workplace Issue report was developed to understand what DFV means for employees and how it can be addressed in the workplace.
