Omar Biaz

Senior Sustainability Specialist, Business Chamber Queensland

With over a decade of experience in the sustainability industry, Omar is the Sustainability Specialist at Business Chamber Queensland. He provides support and improvements on processes and technical aspects of the ecoBiz program. He also manages and maintains the chamber's Carbon Neutral certification and the company’s ESG policies. 

Omar holds vast experience managing sustainable certification programs and life cycle assessments for the building and construction industry, as an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 auditor and program manager.

He holds a master's degree in Environmental Management Engineering, and Project Management. Omar is passionate about contributing to solve sustainability related challenges and brings his technical acumen to help businesses achieve their sustainability objectives.
