Industrial Relations reforms

The Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Act 2022 (Cth) (the ‘Amendment Act’) received Royal Assent on December 6, 2022. 

The Amendment Act amends workplace relations laws relating to bargaining, job security, gender equality, compliance and enforcement, workplace conditions and protections and workplace relations institutions.  

The Amendment Act amends the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) (‘FW Act’) and other employment related legislation.
